Paul Allen is a pioneer of personal computing and the IT industry, (particularly IT support), would obviously not be where it is today without his contributions.  A true giant of industry, he devoted much of his time after Microsoft’s success to bettering humanity through various endeavors.  His philanthropic example is one for any to follow that has had the benefit of success.
